This Wednesday Lifted took Manchester Carers to Dunham Massey for a walk around their gardens.
We went for the day and spent the day walking around the stunning gardens.
Not only did we get to see all the wonderful flowers, but we also got to view the kitchen gardens and the volunteers around the gardens were filled with so much knowledge they told us about all the plants and vegetables that they grow there and how they are used.

We had luck on our side as well as the weather was fantastic all day, our Lifted ambassador Declan also joined us on the trip and he really enjoyed the walk and even joined the longer walking group.
“The helpfulness of the staff was great. Very friendly.”
It was wonderful to hear our walkers talking about the trip and how much they enjoyed it and asked if we could take them again, they even suggested we could do the walk during the different seasons to see how the grounds change over the year
