At the start of the month Lifted walking group went for an adventure around Manchester Museum.
Not everyone has access to a park on their doorstep and Lifted wanted to see how we could help those who live closer to the city still take part in weekly walks around the city.
The walking group opted for a walk around the museum as their city destination.
The group were able to jump on a bus in Civic and travel the whole way to the museum in one go
Our fantastic volunteer Sam planned the whole trip and arranged everyone getting there and was our walking lead for this trip.
The group arrived and were invited to explore the whole museum. Sam split the team into two groups one with Sam and the other with Kate.
It was such a fun day, trying to cover the whole museum in one go, the group want to go back to view even more on their next trip.
It was amazing going into an area and to speak with the staff there to hear about each exhibition they had on show.
We even got different cares to come join us on this trip which was wonderful to see.
