Carers Manchester South (CMS) work in the community to raise awareness of the experience and needs of unpaid carers. Without the ongoing support and commitment from Emma and working closely with Sue, CMS would never be as effective or successful in achieving its aims and goals.

I moved to Wythenshawe .about 10 years ago . When I meet a lovely lady call sue ..she told me about lifted. Were I went everyday ..at the time I was not to good with lots going on in my life .ive a son with ADHD .and I was finding him very hard work ..that’s we’re sue Emma and the team help me with getting on with my life ..even just a cup of tea and a chat it was just someone to chat to . When I was finding life hard ..all my love Lisa xx

I feel a great sense of affinity with Lifted as I met Emma many years ago at a training day when we were both trying to get our organisations off the ground. I have felt her pain as it’s been a tough uphill battle for us both but she hasn’t given up and has now been rewarded with 3 years of secure funding. I wish Lifted well in this next stage.
