Yesterday Lifted hosted a sit down breakfast with one of Manchester City Council commissioners to hear from our carers
Our carers were able to share what their personal experience have been for them as unpaid carers.
They were able to share what barriers, if any they have had to face being a carer for a child/adult with learning needs.
They were also asked how can the system be changed and what impact it would have on them.
Most importantly they were asked what could be done to make them feel more valued as an unpaid carer.
